Editing content

Edit pre-written text

Each page on your website comes fully constructed with pre-written text. Inspector’s Edge offers variations of text for your Home, About, Services, and Reports page.

Each content box editor will vary on how they are displayed.

After clicking the “EDIT” tool of a text box, you will be brought to your text editor; you will be presented with two tool bars.

Your first tool bar from left to right gives you the following options:

Your starter text is where you will find all the pre-written content supplied by Inspector’s Edge.

Please note: pieces of this text will need to be customized to your company.

Moving content blocks

Almost everything on your website can be moved.

The main content block can move up and down. If their size is set to half width they can move side to side. Sidebar blocks can only move up and down, as they must stay in the sidebar.

To move any block on the page:

Place your mouse over the content block you want to move; “click and hold”
(HOLD)

Drag your content block above or below its current position. When you move the object, a box will appear underneath saying “Drop Here”.

Once you have moved it to the position you want it in, release your mouse.
